*Defination of Library:                                                                                                                                                                     A Library classification is a system of knowledge organization by which library resources are arranged and ordered systematically.Library classifications use a notational system that represents the order of topics in the classification and allows items to be stored in that order.                                                                                                                              * Textbook Defination : 

                Encycnlopedia Definatio : library classification is a system of coding and organizing library materials (books, serials, audiovisual materials, computer files, maps, realia) according to their subject and allocating a call number to that information resource. Similar to classification systems used in biology, bibliographic classification systems group entities that are similar together typically arranged in a hierarchical tree structure (assuming none-faceted system).                                                                                                                          From the Dictionary:

               Library classification is the systematic arrangement of library materials in a logical and coherent manner based on their subject matter, form, or other characteristics.
