Definition :
A library classification is a system of organisation of knowledge in which sources are arrange according to the classification scheme and order very systematically. There are classifying books, Magazines,periodical and other library meterials. Library classification ia a easy process.
Encyclopedia :
Library classification is the systematic arrangement of library materials by subject matter, using a classification system such as the Dewey Decimsl Classification or the library of congress classification (Encyclopedia Britannia. 2023)
Textbook :
Library classification we are concerned with some Library’s' documents is to arrange this in the most helpful and permanent order. The 'document ' means printed copy, handwriting copy, maps,including books. Library classification thus provides formal access to the documents in a library. (Theory of Classification Krishan Kumar)
Dictionary :
Library classification system are verious like Dewey Decimal Classification system (DDC)that we can use to order and arrange the all library materials.
